Die Sonne stand tief,
als diese Bilder entstanden.
Und vielleicht ist das die Art Licht,
in der ich mich selbst am ehesten erkenne:
weich, ehrlich, ohne Drängen.

Gemacht von einem Menschen,
Der bald selbst mit wunderbarem
Partner vor meiner Linse stehen wird.
Die mich gesehen haben,
bevor ich sie sehen durfte.
Die mich festgehalten haben
– ohne dass ich musste.

Meine Arbeit hat weniger mit der
Technik zu tun, mehr mit dem Hinhören.
Mit dem Blick für das,
was keiner inszeniert.

Liebe zeigt sich nicht immer im Kuss.
Oft im Zögern davor.
In einer Bewegung,
die keiner bemerkt.
Und genau dort
entsteht Magie.

Ich bin dankbar,
dass mein Leben mir erlaubt,
diesem Gefühl zu folgen.
Es zu teilen.
Und immer wieder neue Menschen
in mein Herz zu lassen.

Captured by a wonderful woman
who’ll soon be including her wonderful finance in front of my lens.
Who saw me
before I saw them.
Who held me in a frame
before I ever clicked the shutter.

I’ve come to believe
that my work is less about gear
and more about listening.
Noticing the moments
no one meant to show.

Love doesn’t always live in the kiss.
Sometimes it lives in the pause before it.
In a breath,
in a gesture too fleeting to stage.
That’s where the magic happens.

I’m grateful
to live a life that allows me
to follow that feeling.
To give it form.
To welcome more and more beautiful souls
into this journey.

Ich bin Julia, und hinter meiner Kamera steckt nicht nur Technik, sondern vor allem Leidenschaft für die echten, ungestellten Augenblicke. Ich liebe es, die Magie im Alltäglichen zu entdecken – die kleinen Gesten, das Lächeln, das nur für den anderen bestimmt ist, die stille Verbindung, die in den Momenten zwischen den Worten liegt.

Doch die „First Look“-Entscheidung bringt auch Überlegungen mit sich: Für einige kann das traditionelle Bild – der erste Blick auf die Braut während der Zeremonie – eine Bedeutung haben, die sie nicht missen möchten. Die Spannung und der emotionale Höhepunkt, der entsteht, wenn der Bräutigam seine Braut erstmals vor der versammelten Gemeinschaft erblickt, bleibt ein unersetzliches Ritual für viele.

Zusätzlich ist es immer eine Frage des Lichts. In diesem Rahmen hatten wir wirklich Glück. Da First Looks aber oft sehr früh stattfinden müssen, vormittags oder zur prallen Mittagssonne ist es oft eine Challenge die notwendige Umgebung sowie auch Stimmung aufzubauen. Den, wer entspannt schon gern in der prallen Sonne, im Anzug/Kleid und kann sich vollkommen in die Situation fallen lassen?

Es ist eine Frage des Lichts, der damit benötigten Umgebung sowie eurer selbst.

But it’s also a day where may somebody special is missing. Out of respect I won’t share pictures about these moments but it’s also a day of missing somebody close. A day of wondering how they would look at you, would they be proud and what would they say?

As today is to remember, let’s keep remembering that people are not forgotten. 🫶🏻 we carry them in our hearts, I truly believe they are around us. If you just got to know a new loss, these days are even harder. It’s different. May tomorrow feels lighter but the day after harder and anyway everything is mixed up.

But there is always love around you even if it’s not your moment to see that. 🫶🏻
